A weekend in the romantic Paris, capital city of France
This trip was born almost by chance and thanks to a fortuitous series of combinations ...
The work took me to Parisstrong> until Friday night ... The MilleMiglia Alitalia allowed me to get me at no cost ... we have found a comfortable Mercure quite central and we have given away this cold weekend in France.

In February it is still very cold and the days are quite short, but in fact Parisstrong> has a magic that propagates in the streets and lights.

As the city is very expensive and the French do not like to speak foreign languages, but at least once in your life you should make a trip to Parisstrong>.
The royal residence at Versailles
Inside the convention business is expected to brief visit to the famous Palace of < strong > Versailles strong >, but I think it is more pleasant on a warm spring day , when the gardens can match the beauty of the interiors . The path is guided rather hasty and not include the entire castle . We remain astonished to discover that the king ' s throne is actually a replica cardboard , but we walk with their noses in the air along the Hall of Mirrors .
Paris inside the fog
Accompanied by the faithful Lonely Planet , we turn to the streets , discovering the many sights that make it so famous and so beautiful . - A grand opera , where there are also the names of some famous Italian composers - Place Vendome , the Column of Austerlitz - The Tuileries gardens , well kept , where even in February there are fans of jogging - Place de la Concorde , with its tall obelisk and its golden point - The Bridge of Saint Alexander , the golden statues that guard and protect We decide to get even the Eiffel Tower ... The view is worth the climb and tail , but the cold of February does not make us fully appreciate the awesome structure and view from the top . E ' above the last piece , where the elevators are very small , which creates a long snake tail . We end our tour with experience in underground ( pay attention to connections : sometimes you need to travel long to change train tunnels !) And the visit to Notre Dame . In the evening we choose to climb the Sacred Heart and a ride in Mont Martre , the neighborhood of artists and painters . If you want to eat well in an environment & quot ; from the restaurant , is not to be missed Mere Catherine .
Paris with the sun
Today the weather is much improved . We decide to revise some corners that we had enjoyed yesterday with clouds , but starting with an extraordinary spectacle : the Louvre . Given the short time available , we decide is not worth entering ( we could not watch almost anything ), but already courtyards , pavilions and the glass pyramid is a must . From here you can easily reach the Arc Carouselle , gardens , Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe . A nice walk , but worth it , even to see how the Parisians faced a sunny Sunday afternoon . In the gardens there are many persons walking , bars and clubs set the table outside , with people swarming everywhere .
