Back again to the city of Chambery and across the region of Savoy, France
After enjoying the cool of the Mont Cenis arrive at Chambery in the afternoon, the heat was intense. Walk through the center, the elephants are still there.
The next morning we chilled to the lakes, but in vain. Lunch in Aix-le-Bains, on Lake Bourget, gremitissimo of bathers. We continue to Annecy, a beautiful like all those years ago, the water channel in the middle of town is an amazing blue, is mirrored in the lake there, but the heat ruin all the fountains of water are under assault. We went to Annecy in July 1995 after returning from Paris, it was very hot and we had not surprising that rental of pedal boats accettasero as payment by credit card.
Turning back to Chambery we climb a lookout which offers a stunning view of Lake Bourget. And 'the last image from Savoy, the next quote Mark home.
