The trip is made on 4 with a camper.
Basically it was reported the complete itinerary of the trip to Lofoten, of which this is a small part.

Friday 11.08.95
Departure from the camp at 9, Trier (Trier, Germany). Let the border with France around 10:15 where we change the marks with the franc with a deduction of 2 DM.
Visit Strasbourg. Parking along the Ill river. Visit to the historical part of town. The cathedral and watch, walk along the river up to the covered bridges
After we go to Mont-Ste-Odile, the beautiful road to reach the hill, parking and short walk through woods where you can admire the rock formations details. Beautiful view from the terraces of the monastery, the Vosges Mountains and Black Forest.
Visit to the village of Riquewihr. Very typical, where we do some buying. Dinner outside the walls, the camp is no more place, and we advise to park outside the walls in the parking lot of the coaches. We are close to two French camper. Witnessing a quarrel between Belgians and Swiss, then come the comedians Russian coaches with tools and theatrical costumes that do some testing in the square, are included (of course the campers were left with all the cameras) and get chatting. End with a little drink 'of grappa in the camper of the Belgians. Then, on the night of a furious dispute between the couple 2 and 4 am in the middle of the square, with the awakening of all.

After a night at 8.30am theatrical departure from the square, a little 'sleepy.
Let the congine between France and Switzerland and stop for lunch in Lucerne. In the afternoon we Furkapass at 2400m where we do some walking tours.
Small remark: the width of the road allows the passage of caravans for only 2 cm! Now this involves a trip to the lateral limit of the rocks and cliffs in case you encounter other vehicles "bulky". For people who suffer from vertigo, like myself, the trip appears beautiful but definitely stressful.
