Time "Swiss" was inclement. On the morning of August 14 we wake up with the second day of rain. The decision is taken: enough with the mountains (min 6 ° and 10 ° max). But where to go? I have an idea. Phone IBIS at Center of <strong>Orangestrong> (in the car I always contact with the major hotel chains). There are two double rooms available for 4 days. We and our friends we leave Switzerland and French way to hopefully sunny Provence. We have more luck in the first few days. The sky is blue and the air is fresh and in addition the IBIS costs 69 euros a night while in CH spent 105 euros al cambio. Bella <strong>Orangestrong> with its Roman amphitheater, beautiful <strong>Avignonstrong> with its famous bridge and the Palace of the Popes who gladly review after 20 years. Excellent cuisine: the aioli, mussels, the Patè of all types (they are the only one in the group that appreciates with my great regret) the Quiche Loraine, Croissants and the whole bakery. What about the people of <strong>Orangestrong>. Welcoming, smiling, always available. So people like us South. The last few days it rains and today we are at home!
