Lourdes between tourism and Faith. France

I confess that the proposed visit Lourdes I was a little 'stunned not a practicing Catholic but the experience was still beautiful, interesting and even wiped out. Lourdes has two souls: the business of religious tourism with shops, brasseries and restaurants everywhere, whole streets where the buildings are only hotels and soul in the place of religious silence of the churches, thousands of people in litter with i barrellieri then enjoy the evening, with night-lit processions of hundreds of torches and recited the Hail Mary in all languages including the most rare. Outside the city caves Betharram interesting structure visible only under ground in the summer and partly covered by water (it is for a stretch as Caronte ferried the souls of sinners). Overall visit especially advisable for those who love to see these hidden assets!
