Lovagny: the gorges of Fier.
The Fair is one of the main rivers Haute-Savoie, Annecy and crosses the plain of the lower reaches of the castle where they form the Montrottier Fier Gorge, one of the great erosion of the water.
Lovagny, where the gorges are located, lies just 10 km from Annecy, get there by car along a paved road to the mountain and you can 'Park in the parking off site.

Arrived in a sort of small village where you will find a bar / restaurant, ticket office, a mini photo gallery of the gorges, toilets and a souvenir shop. I had never visited the gorge ... or so 'beautiful, so' bewitching.

Breathtaking visuals ..... ..... beautiful wilderness. Par excellence is the noise of running water several feet below us and we see that the floods have left some changes, logs stuck in the limitations of boulders, logs stuck in holes in the rock at 50 meters from the bottom. Everything is amazing.
I walk slowly along the walkway and cautious step by step I discover the gorges above and below me, all too big, I feel so 'small li' inside.
We come to places where you can admire waterfalls and smooth rocks, caves, vegetation that hangs down to meters. At the end of the catwalk do not stop but proceed to go and peep what actually can be seen from the lookout. We walk on rocks and mud, earth and grass, the next journey is a walk on land to the lake where the river flows into the gorges, the river Fier.
We must go back exactly along the same path and meet someone who is coming. all so 'only one that I would not go away and stay more minutes and minutes to fix anything around me. If I think that all that big tunnel dug into the rock is a result of the water, I wonder how much power has the water. The environment is humid, we stop at a point with benches and rest and admire the rock in front of us, so high, so special.
felicissma son is a place that had visited, it cost me no little trouble to visit but it's worth it without qualms.
The Haute Savoie is a cache of pristine and beautiful places, I could not hide behind places so beautiful and I recommend it to everyone, gorges and a thousand other places including the magnificent castle Montrottier that there is very close to the gorges, a castle Medieval single you visit in the afternoon and ahem I could not visit.

Lovagny: Castle Montrottier.
The medieval castle is Lovagny, 10 km from Annecy, is owned by dell 'Accademia Florimontane. La Rocca is a pentagonal plan that is developed around a circular central tower. The oldest part dates from the 13th century, the interior is restored and complete with antique furniture, ornaments, statues, paintings, etc. .... The castle is open from March to October, the guided tours are just inside and times are only afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00.
Visits by groups must be booked in different languages. The castle is very well maintained and renovated, near the famous Gorges du Fier.
