MARSEILLE. The capital of the Southern France

Marseille!
...... Honestly say that I thought was bad, however, has proved a beautiful seaside city in southern France ... a great city, not the usual ....... small French town held by the god, full of tourists and prices through the roof .... but a city that is great extension for 2 times and Paris has almost one million inhabitants!
Is very scenic along the sea (in particular the area of the Prado) with cliffs that fall to peak and wonderful views on Sky line of the old city.
The shopping center (1st arrondissement) is right behind the vieux port, with a pedestrian street that comes right in front of the Prefecture (building, imposing and beautiful) the shops are more or less the same people who are in Nice or Paris and l ' architecture is similar to other cities of France, but the wonderful atmosphere that gives you (to October people who run T-shirt, shorts and infradito !!!!!!) not sure you can find in the north, the Mediterranean and is certainly more beautiful and hospitable the cold ocean of the other French coast ........ but it's like all the great port city of ..... quite dirty, with people dressed a little 'too casual short ....., is a kind of beautiful Genoa ..... no offense to the Genoese .....
Going to Notre Dame de guard, (the sanctuary of the city, with a statue of the Virgin Mary throughout the gold at the tip) is the most beautiful view and panoramic view across the city .... the eye sweeps from the sea to the mountains ..... truly beautiful!
So I have to say that the city was above my expectations and I had taught.
If you have more time then you should absolutely go to the Calanques ... a kind of fjord Mediterranean sea with crystal-to five-minute drive from town !!!!!!!
The Camargue is a few miles!
A word of advice then:
If you're near a stop in Marseille is a must!
