My first travel abroad: a tour of the French Riviera
It is the my first trip to France and one of my first tour abroad since before I was just in San Marino and the Vatican. I was with my mother and a friend and traveled with the latter's car, an Opel Kadett. Always spent the night in Italy, in a hotel in Ventimiglia, where every evening we returned across the border. During this holiday twice visited the principality of Monaco to which I refer to its routes. In France, visited the village of Eze, situated on a hill overlooking the Riviera. The country consists of old stone houses covered by narrow alleys. Eze is very Nice both for its Provencal architecture that you can enjoy the view but the real showpiece is the botanical garden full of exotic plants. We also reached Nice in the center where passing without pause. Honestly this city I remember only to buy a good baguette, I think it was the first of my life. It was very interesting in France also the first contact with a food other than Italian, particularly in restaurants where we stopped in our transfers amazed me the delicate croquettes and some strange kind of sauce. We also went to Antibes where the driver had a friend who worked on a yacht moored in the marina.
