Nine companions, a couple of Fiat Punto and an island.. Corsica 2005, France

The idea of organizing a holiday to remember he had long since seeped into our minds, but the goal there was still obscure. Fate (or rather, Moby Lines) has given us the input needed to decide once and for all! One of us notice a Great deals for Corsica in the paper due to expire until two days later and triggered panic, but we can get together and book. It could not be better choice .. "Nine passengers, under a sky of dark clouds, edged with silver, joined them on their way to the time of a night. I still do not know that the moon, embrace in a single glance, base their destinies .. "

 

TRENTO - BASTIA

ORE 01:51 - We start by TN with our mythical Point, faithful companion.
08:30 am - arrival in Livorno where we board one of the colorful Ferry Moby Lines. Ovviam long queues to go up but I would say you can not beat the service!
ORE 14:11 - Yoda come to Bastia (see photo), but we go immediately to Ghisonaccia where we booked our campsite from the typical name .. U Casoni. In fact, more than in France seems to be here in Sardinia! The camp was very large, Probab had a golden age because they saw that was designed especially for large numbers and that was to be a campsite "luxury" that summer could not be said to be the peak of success but the beach was really beautiful (see photo).

SOLENZARA, FAVONE AND CANNELLA BEACHES

08:30 am - the alarm rings early for us because we're going to find some nice beach! Mazzu and Tobi take steps to check the breakfast: fortunatam find that every morning at this camp the men came in croissants with hot croissants! Delirio confectionary for us!
ORE 10:44 - we are moving and we get to Solenzara, not very well known resort, where we come almost by accident by following the signs for the beach. Ghisonaccia is not far from the beach and has a curious peculiarity: it is situated right at the mouth of a river (perhaps stream) can not remember the name. So you see the difference chiaram water (wonderful in both cases ovviam) of the river which flows into the sea .. and really deserving as the spot! (see photo) The Ilaria says that looks like a place to "The Lord of the Flies," Let us trust ..
ORE 16:16 - the idea is to go inside, but then maybe we realize it's late, back of a bay but we realize we do not find the way to achieve it so we give idly on the beaches of Favone and cinnamon..

VISIT TO BONIFACIO AND SANTA AMANZA BAY

06:30 am - getting up waaay too early to reach the city of Bonifacio in decent time. In reality, the expectations are not great but we are mistaken because the big city deserves a visit! Perched within the ancient walls, Bonifacio contains a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with shops and typical restaurants. From the spectacular highlight of the mouth (see photo) and the breathtaking view that is enjoyed going to practice in front of Bonifacio along a dirt road almost only given as viewpoint: ventosissimo COMPLETION but the place overlooking the sea and in the middle of meadows. Attractions! (see photo)
At 13.30 we moved to the Bay of Santa Amanzi (see photo), a place that really takes your breath away, but the day a bit 'windy .. not resist does not help that much although some of us have the unhealthy idea of bath. Along the way we indulge in some reflections: So far we have not encountered even a cemetery but only car dealers and round!

COL BAVELLA

10:30 am - Today we grant an alarm more forgiving .. nothing that breakfast and then we set off towards the inside.
ORE 15:02 - we are finally in the mountains, the road was longish but always worthy of photos and looks enchanted. After a look at the lookout point (see picture), thanks to Franz who had been indications of years before we reach a creek that is spectacular (see photo)! Naturalm the plunge from the rocks is a must (for the other at least ..) even a small slope of the river .. we compare ourselves to the exalted Ilaria little adventurers despite complaints icy water!
ORE 19:23 - return to camp and preparation of sangria on the beach .. then to take a midnight swim! .. moon, sand, sea and the pack around the fire .. perfect!

PALOMBAGGIA

ORE 11:14 - today is not just the alarm sounded! today there we take it easy because we are going to Palombaggia, one of the most famous beaches of Corsica, not far from our base camp (see photo). There is nothing to refute chiaram on the beach, perhaps only the crowded .. the water is really crystal clear, however (see photo).

Unknown Day

.. unknown in the sense that the page of the diary kept during those ten days he spoke of 25 flew away while Laura was writing the findings on the ferry! We visited a very characteristic little towns which naturalm I forgot the name .. I know it's shameful! but two photos of the day I post anyway ..

CORTE AND RESTONICA VALLEY

08:00 am - Franz us woke up very early because our goal is far enough away now: the center of the island!
ORE 10:10 - arrival to the town of Corte, characteristic for its center perched on a spur of rock (see photo).
ORE 12:23 - we move slightly from the court to reach the entrance to the famous valley of Reston (famous for those who intend to mountaineering) to underline the fact that not letting in more than a certain number of machines and must be paid a toll (can not remember what but certainly not the top). Cmq place to visit for the peculiarity of its mountains and the creek running through it in the bathroom it would be possible if the water was so cold! (see photo)

ROCCAPINA BEACH

07:30 am - getting up early to get to the beach Roccapina that the guide shows how particular shape of the rocks that surround the lion bay .. we're intrigued! In fact, once there, it seems very difficult to distinguish this lion (see photo) .. but it is relatively saw that the beach proves to be very beautiful (see photo)!

AT "MAZZU's WONDERFUL BEACH"

09:30 - as the last actual day of vacation we allow ourselves a little 'healthy leisure in the beach where we do not give a name (in the sense that the map and the signal was not clear ..) and so has been called the beautiful beach Mazzu already the second day he wanted to go there .. so that the information provided is not the best, just remember who was on the road we have traveled several times to go to Palombaggia and other beaches. But between the beaches saw this was perhaps less than he deserved (always remaining very nice of course!) (See photo)

BASTIA - TRENTO

ORE 11:24 - sadly let U Casone and his sympathetic landlord to move towards Bastia and get on Moby Vincent.
ORE 14:32 - the sad boarding .. much sadness in leaving the island!
HOURS 21:39-arrive tired and smelly, but terribly happy!

OPINIONS

I highly recommend a trip to Corsica for several reasons, the main of which are the beauty of the landscapes for the most part untouched, the variety of landscapes themselves (from sea to mountain, from barren to green, from the cities to the villages), speed and comfort during movement (either due to small island that model Route 66 straight roads). The only problems we encountered were due to a restaurant that has served us the dishes terrible (some of us were even worse), which sfortunatam not remember the name though! Of the places we strongly suggest you visit Bonifacio, the hill of Bavella, Solenzara and the interior is short, almost everything! Ours was a holiday dedicated to a long idleness and relaxation even if we fail to do our laps, but primarily because of the spontaneity of the will of the moment, which is possible only if you have a car available. Transport of the car by ferry is not expensive if you pay attention to May promotions (we we paid 1 euro on shipping!).
