On the traces of Da Vinci code. Paris, France

Like every year, for some years now, we decide to visit a European capital. We decide to go this winter in Paris. 7 women, I (Ilenia), Sabrina, Giusy, Paola, Marianna, Daniela Milena and to explore the city more "romantic" par.
We start with Easyjet from Naples, the airport of arrival is to Orly. With a shuttle bus and a metro service arrive at the hotel. We have 5 days. available, the last is already established that we are going to EuroDisney. We need to focus the limited time we have to visit all that c'interessa. We decide together "the plan of attack." Each day will visit the district c'interessa and monuments that are in that area. I just finished reading the Da Vinci Code, I am curious to see the church of St. Sulpice, and all the places in the code. Like many other readers, I was enchanted by the novel and I would like to relive key moments ..

 

First day

Usually prefer to walk rather than putting in meters, but for long stretches cmq use. the meter. The machines we have bought a carnet of 10 tickets (about € 10). We visit the inside, we try to photograph the magnificent rose windows and the altar .. without flash but the pictures do not make good. Go up the hard scale that brings us right up .. not even remember how many more steps we have climbed, but the effort is rewarded by the beautiful landscape that you can enjoy from here on. Around almost 360gradi. Albeit with a bit of haze you can see the Sacre coer, and the Eiffel tower, the gardens of the Louvre, the gargouilles ... We are also fortunate, there is a sun and a warm exaggerated!
From there, we head into the heart of the Latin Quarter, where a meal (due..) Buonissima cracks. A quick jump to the church of Saint Sulpice, where, strange thing, is not the only one to walk with your head facing down in search of the point described in the novel. Today the tour ends here, we decide to go back to the hotel, we are tired, but after a short nap we are ready to lose out in march. We want to know what the night life of Paris!

Second day

Following is dedicated to museums, ns. objective is the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay. Buy the "musee carde and monuments." One day costs € 18, gives us the chance to visit lots of museums, but especially to have priority access (we will not have to queue!). This is important for those who have little time, the file that is in the Louvre is impressive. Begins the race "virtual" with others. We should see many more of them things! Me, my sister Sabrina and Paola's start from the mezzanine, access Richelieu. I want to see the sculptures in France, the horses of Marly, the Milo of Crotone. From there we access the ground floor after the room.
The most important things are the Code of Hammurabi and the winged bull. The plan that we are offered by the museum is good but I have the guidance of the Louvre that my dear friend Ciro has given me on loan.
Sully room with the Venus of Milo, then the Denon room with Greek and Etruscan antiquities, and then the incatevole "Love and Psyche" by Canova. Still continuing in the room Denon access to 1st floor. There she is! La Gioconda and ilpunto exact crime! Wanted Saunière and the painting by Caravaggio, but ... image as the room is crowded, faccciamo a bit of effort to reach in front. Time to make a picture that people, with grace, sweeps you away. The hall can be found where the giocanda is the latest, we must take a very long corridor that includes the Italian paintings of the XVI-XVII century. Cimabue and then the hall of the crown. Diamonds and gems set in all the accessories, of course all well guarded! We move in the room Sully, Paola and I to see him crouching Scriba, Sabrina to see the ancient Egypt (we have been to the museum in Cairo !!!). Room visit in the Richelieu apartments NapoleoneIII that invites us to take tea with him, declined the invitation because we hurry. I have yet to see Santa Maria Maddalena. The second floor is practically of French paintings, which we are a bit boring. The lace is closed .. falling down, I try to Mary Magdalene, Sabry and Paola visit the ditches. The appointment is outside, near the pyramid, the others are already out. Cameras in hand, who has done the best pictures? .. better not to speak ..
There is still an hour to visit the Musée d'Orsay. Daniela, Milena Marianna and surrender. I and others do not! More than one visit is a trip. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful ... All running, until we arrive at Gaugain and Van Gogh
In the evening we are a rag, it seems that someone has just given us a club behind his back. The nightlife of Paris stasera c'interessa little. To spend this evening!

3rd, 4th, 5th day

The other days pass between the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Champs Elysées, sainte Chapelle, montmartre and sacre coer, the arch of triumph, the Moulin Rouge, and to return to the Da Vinci Code, visit place Vendome and the Ritz hotel (clearly from outside!)
.. we're not missing anything done! Paris is beautiful, rich culture and modern at the same time. A very cosmopolitan city. Unico neo were 2 episodes that we were really scared. One evening a madman in a McDonalds we wanted because we were slain Italian (fortunately that if the gendarmerie is brought), the other madman has instead followed the Bastille (where we were going to drink something nice _che nightlife that is there! _) for about 1km. There was no living soul around and we were clearly the sun .. In all the travel I have never capitata una cosa del genere!
Moreover, the holiday was it tiring, a real tour de force, but wonderful ... and we could not conclude much better, with a visit to Eurodisney.
