Riding our beloved motorcycles in Corsica, France
Assigned boarding Livorno Porto Vecchio. Found it convenient travel by boat that takes us in the south of the island in saving way to go. In fact the other routes are all on Bastia and having only a week and wanting to concentrate on the south to the Strait of Bonifacio we would have to make a transfer return very long. Grimaldi Lines (www.grimaldi-ferries.com) in the summer it offers QEST chance with attractive prices if booked via the internet (step by car or motorbike to 1 € uro). We then found through the Internet to rent a motor home for a week at a good price that allows us more freedom than staying in a hotel. From Porto Vecchio to Bonifacio, there are beautiful beaches (La Palombaggia, Santa Giulia, Rondinara ,...) and then not counting the island of Lavezzi where you must go for an entire day taking the ferry from Bonifacio. Remember to bring a hat and food on the island because there is (thankfully) nothing but beach, sea, nature, and unfortunately for us, too many tourists :-( The City of Bonifacio is very beautiful, a natural harbor where it is customary to take a walk in the evening, perhaps after a good dinner of fish in the many restaurants (provided that they are all high as prices). Wonderful time, always well ventilated and well sun gives too much trouble otherwise. Bellissimo is also the return made by ferry during the day. Departing from Porto Vecchio we coasted most of the Islands "Toscana" (Montecristo, Pianosa, Gorgona, Elba, Capraia) also saw a group of dolphins into the port in Livorno. Redone ... :-)
