This trip was an unexpected graduation present from my boyfriend. Always dreamed of being able to stroll the streets of Paris and admire the cathedral of Notre Dame, discover the treasures of the Louvre ... Our adventure begins with an Alitalia flight direct to Charles de Gaulle. Once you arrive at your destination through the RER and Metro, we reach our hotel, which was a few steps from the Eiffel Tower. Place your bags in the room we dive immediately into the atmosphere of Paris. Reach by Metro Trocadero and the trip gives us a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower. We visit the Musée de l'Homme, where we can admire the evolution of man from prehistoric times to today, the collection of skulls of Neanderthal man that goes to that of Descartes (the famous philosopher of the skull is preserved here). There is a valuable collection on the comparative anatomy and pathology, as well as a section at the dawn of neuroscience (see from the stereotaxic apparatus by Paul Broca). Leaving the museum we are heading towards Ile de la Cite, where the view of Notre Dame leaves us dumbstruck. We visit the Conciergerie, the famous prison that housed prisoners on death of the French Revolution (including Marie Antoinette the same). In the evening we receive a romantic walk to the Eiffel Tower. Taking advantage of the fact that there were no files, we climb to the second floor, where we have a breathtaking view of Paris by night. The second day will be dedicated to visiting the Musée du Louvre, definitely a must for anyone visiting Paris for the first time. We allow ourselves to be captivated by the paintings of Giotto, Leonardo, Delacroix Fra Angelico and many others. Even the Egyptian worth visiting, as well as Greek. The sculptures are wonderful: I've always had a soft spot for Eros and Psyche by Canova, and see it was really exciting. Leaving the Louvre, we move through the gardens towards the Place de la Concorde, where we admire the magnificent Egyptian obelisk (taken in exchange clock which is now the Temple of Karnak in Egypt - not working). From here we head towards the Arc de Triomphe via Champs Elysees. In the evening we allow ourselves a little 'relaxation on the Seine, enjoying a delicious crepe. The next day we explore the Montmartre district, visit the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur and we see the Moulin Rouge. The evening of street artists give us a wonderful show with fire, the Eiffel Tower in the background. The next day we dedicate to walk through the markets, the latest shopping and a last look before leaving, the Eiffel Tower, hoping to return soon to discover new places and new treasures of this wonderful city. Paris is in fact full of attractions. Transport services are simply efficient and connected an excellent all parts of the city.
