Lying on the right bank of the Loire, the town was in the sixteenth century, the favorite residence of French kings. Castle Boils is particularly interesting because it represents a compendium of French architecture. Begun in the XIII century it was enlarged in the fifteenth century, then by Francis I in 1700, which called to work by Italian artists. The masterpiece of the castle is the famous spiral staircase in a tower closed polygonal richly carved balconies.<br />And after a good 6800 km our adventure to roam for France can be called complete and return home.
