The other France... Provence and Camargue

Summer 2005: I wanted to go to India but this time I was only 2 weeks of vacation so I had to divert a place easily accessible by car as well as usual until the last second I did not know what to do, where to go and this time also with those who go ....
Bello and Ivano went in Sardinia - Corsica to reach Puddu, Ravenna and 10 other people and I do not own gruppone I wanted.
Fortunately at this time I was in contact with a close friend of Rome also without ideas so we agreed to do a few days together.
We found the evening of Saturday, August 6 at the station in Genoa. She arrived by train and I in the car. Direction: Côte d'Azur.

 

SAVINES LE LAC

This is the day that me and "my" princess we greeted each other. Her in the early hours of the morning took a train from Barcellonette (a location which is located on the French Alps).
We came into this town by a beautiful walk. Initially we were a St.Raphael before moving to St. Tropez (where we have survived less than 1 hour), LE LAVANDOU HYERES and then arrive in the beautiful Camargue.
We visited the beautiful Arles with its amphitheater and the arena where we spent the night de jeunesse all'Auberge which is located on Avenue Foch.
The next day after a visit to the bridge of VAN GOGH we first path across the marsh from the west reaching SAINTES MARIE OF A MER and then from the east along the Rhone, passing SALIN DE GIRAUD where after it passed in the midst of real mountains salt we gathered on a beautiful beach! Wonderful! I can not find words to describe it! We spent the whole day here where we camped with other "gypsies".
Away from the Camargue after a brief visit to Nimes we were to Avignon historic town of the Popes. Beautiful city surrounded by walls ... looks a little 'to our Lucca.
Leaving Avignon we proceed directly to the French Alps last night with a rose all'Auberge de Jeunesse of Savines Le Lac place where began my career as a climber.

NICE

Saturday, August 13, I fell in company with a passionate Spanish mountain known all'ostello Savines of the Lac.
With him, I reached the summit of a mountain and I spent the night camped in PARC NATIONAL DE MECANTOUR (but beautiful experience that I have suffered cold !!!!). Left my new friend I was heading for Nice, where I was waiting for my cousin Alberto that has reached me since he did not know how to switch the Ferragosto.

CUNEO

This is the day when the morning I left my cousin at the station in Cuneo with him ..... after a good August spent in Nice where we stayed in a hotel in the area squallidissimo Algerian and after a day spent by the parties of Barcellonette me are found in Cuneo, where we were accommodated in the camp in the city.
Cuneo is a charming city .... We have good ... there are also beautiful girls ...

AOSTA

I woke up the morning of this Sunday while I slept alone on my Polo in the parking lot of a shopping center of Aosta.
Thursday morning my cousin greeted at the railway station of Cuneo I was directed to Pinerolo and then take the road that leads to Sestiere. This famous mountain was devastated by the work in progress. Preparations for the Winter Olympics in Turin have degraded the whole area ... I have continued across the border again by step of stopping the same name Moncenisio Lac du Mont Cenis and then finally to Lanslebourg. Here, after 1 hour I managed to find the Hostel where I marry and where I met a real crazy part 1 and some families of the Italian sosia Bin Laden (a goldsmith from Milan who was on those mountains for biking along the famous steps Tour de France).
With him I spent the next 2 days. The first day we were on the highest step of Europe (Col de l'Iseran) climbing the mountain the same name and then marry the evening of Borg all'Ostello St. Maurice where cenavamo while we were at the center of attention of all. We know 2 Nice girls in Paris with which we were awake until late at night ..
The next morning we were near the Adventure Park with 2 Frenchman and accommodation with other people that we have followed. In the afternoon, I greeted everyone to return to Italy and a surprise Mark (the double of Bin Laden) I was below. We then crossed with our 2 cars behind the San Bernardino and after a stop in Morgex where he took a bed all'ostello we proceed directly to Aosta, and in the evening after seeing the Juve triumph over Inter in the Italian Supercup we did staying in a room ...


Of all the places I mentioned in my trip .... Council who has never had to visit again in the limit of time and the possibility that there is beach after SALIN DE GIRAUD in the Camargue!
