The Temple of the climbers: Alpe d'Huez, Isere, France. A cycling monument
The legendary climb. Coppi dominated the first in 1952, Pantani was imposed in 1997 with a time that no one has yet managed to beat. The rise gave me beautiful feelings, or to the myth that you met, or for the multitude of people found on the road with any kind of cycles the address. Mitici 21 hairpin bends, each named after the winner of the stage of the Tour de France that he had his conclusion. It starts from Le Bourg d'Oisans (724 m) to reach after 14 km and 1091 meters in altitude at the Rimon ski resort of Alpe d'Huez (1815 m)
