A funny travel experience in Germany with little money

This is a mini-trip supereconomico comfortable that the presence of low costs has made it possible .. within days, if you are well organized you can spend a weekend truly unforgettable .. spending virtually nothing!

- The cheap flight to Frankfurt Hahn from Ciampino airport: 45 €
- LA Terravision shuttle from the airport to downtown Frankfurt: 5 € (round trip!)
- The hotel at the center of Frankfurt € 19 per night (with private bathroom, towels and clean!)
- Trains have offered advantageous for groups of 5 parts on .. you save up to 40%!
- Lunches and dinners in the tavern (not more than € 9 per meal .. and eating well!)

Well .. this can be really an idea for those who want to make a quick and inexpensive trip in anticipation of summer vacation .. This was our itinerary:

We stayed 2 nights in an Hotel in Frankfurt not far from the central station that is able to move independently without taxi ourselves ..

DAY ONE: Arrival in Frankfurt in the morning
In the early afternoon we leave for Heidelberg (about an hour by train), which is really a beautiful town, the ruins of the medieval castle are reflected on the river, crossed the famous bridge that connects the city monumental residential to downtown.
The city is full of beautiful shops and promenades, the center is visited on foot quickly and time is left you can sit in a cafe to enjoy a slice of the outstanding German cakes.

SECOND DAY: Morning departure to the time of the fairytale town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber .. need to change 2 trains before reaching the destination .. But absolutely worth the trouble .. and there is no risk of losing connections .. because the schedules are strictly adhered to! Are punctual!
This city is perhaps one of the Feature of Germany with its small houses and wattle. There was absolute silence and the snow was falling gave us the feeling of being in a movie set rather than in a "real". Rothenburg is unbelievable .. before leaving absolutely must visit the Museum of Christmas and look at the many shops that sell Christmas ornaments and plush teddy bears.

THIRD DAY: Visit the Frankfurt, New York German (called by its inhabitants Main-Hattan .. the name of the river Main). The tall buildings towering up to cover the small town center where he still retains some timber-framed house and a statue of Charlemagne. a very interesting place is the house of the writer Goethe .. retains the appearance of intact nineteenth-century manor house with furnishings and original paintings. In the house-museum is also a small art gallery and a patio.
Lunch in a tavern, sampling the famous shin .. and then head home again ... This trip was born as a joke has been really fun experience!
