Be Free, Be Proud, Be Berlin ..
.. This is the writing above laser projected from the Brandenburg Gate, extraordinarily enlightened and colored (like I never imagined could be).
Walking at night in Berlin is a unique experience, the lights make the city and different colors to paradox.
Potsdamer Platz is already amazing in itself, but the night still changes from pink to red and from red to white .. many variations of color to transform the night of the Sony Center.
The atmosphere in Berlin is hard to describe, the photos I had seen so far have not excited me, and not even the best guides really prepare to face the city.
You lose yourself in the great outdoors (and we shall wonderfully !!!!)
Everything seems the same and different at the same time (sometimes in the center seems to be already in the suburbs .. and suddenly something comes out fantastic .. it is a strange building, a park, or simply the shadows .. and the lights of the sky)
Residential buildings next to modern buildings or ancient ruins of the past (but are so well together ..)
Noise and traffic, huge roads, subways continue, soprapassaggi, unsightly bridges bolted, soiled wall posters ... (but there is a corner where I would not have wanted to take a picture and remain motionless for at least half an hour)
The German capital is a hymn to rebirth, strength of will. The heavy and painful past is not hidden but coexists with the present and with the modern. To every thing there is a place in Berlin, and everything is blended with grace and harmony.
My favorite spot? Alexander Platz .. I do not know why, to be honest in this place really beautiful there is nothing, apart from the air incredibly nostalgic .. and yet I could not stop coming back and back again ...
There is no why you fond in Berlin more than any other European capital, already from day one can understand, which is not a city like so many.
