On other occasions I have passed to the Northern and Eastern Germany in particular had been in Berlin for a few hours at Monchengladbach, I was landed at Warnemünde, I changed the train to Hamburg and Flensburg.
Arrived in Germany with my Fiat Tempra Austria and Germany after first leg having slept at Nuremberg, a seat of the Weimar Republic famous and rich memories of the many artists and men of thought. The city is surrounded by well-kept parks. Continuing in what was once East Germany, I have directed in Dresden, with its beautiful monuments overlooking Elbe, the city was almost completely destroyed by Allied bombing during the second world war and now rebuilt. Evening in Bautzen, the old medieval city walls and buildings and then moved to Berlin for accommodation at the famous Alezander Platz once the center of East Berlin Capital of the DDR The next day devoted to visit the city with that square dominated by an astronomical clock and the Television Tower, City Hall, the Nikolai Church, the Marien Kirche, the Marx-Engels Platz, the Duomo, the museum area (visited Pergamon Museum which houses the altar of Pergamon, the Road of Babylon, the door to the market of Miletus and many other witnesses), the famous Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag once the seat of Nazi Directors. In the area of the Zoo's famous church steeple bombarded by left as a reminder of peace, a bit far from the center of the Charlottenburg Palace and scattered here and there in the ruins of the wall that divided up the 89 cities in two States, the DDR Communist and B.R.D. capitalist. The next day in Potsdam to visit the Park and the Palaces of King of Prussia with baroque interiors and exteriors. Afternoon in the city of Wittenberg Martin Luther the father of Protestantism and modern evening in Magdeburg which gives an impressive cathedral. Return next morning in what was German territory west to Goslar, a town consisting of timbered houses perfectly preserved, in Hildesheim afternoon that has a beautiful church by the magnificent frescoed ceiling, evening in Lübeck, anxiety beautiful city with walls, towers cuspidata and Churches. The next morning in Hamburg with a visit to the harbor, the Town Hall and the Stock Exchange. Afternoon in Bremen with a beautiful evening at the Cathedral and the Cathedral of Munster. Next morning to the imposing cathedral of Cologne, Aachen afternoon with the throne and the tomb of Charlemagne, then left Germany for the Netherlands (see on Tour).
