We saw another slice of Germany and, as always, we are not disappointed. We visited Aachen and Cologne with its cathedral high as the sky. Aachen, in particular is a gem and the "signs" left by Charlemagne are significant, in the true sense of the word, since it includes also the Treasury Carolingian.
