In camper around Bavaria to visit the castles of Ludwig: Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Linderhof, Herrenchiemsee. All very nice and absurd at the same time. Considering the period of their construction (1800) raises the question of the meaning as pomp, targeted only to an imitation of the French period dominated by Louis XIV.
The area of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is spectacular. In particular Fussen its beautiful crystal clear lake close to the Alps and the Romantic Strasse, which leads to the castles.
