Atene and the contrasts of Cyclades
Day dedicated to visiting the city to return to the places and missed the evening return to Piraeus for embarkation to the Islands.
The subway which connects the city to the Piraeus is comodossima and in a short time you Pz.Monastiraki.
We embark on
AMORGOS, spending the night to hammer on the crowded ferry direct to Rhodes.
AMORGOS
At 6:00 in the morning from the ferry landings with us and only six other people. The impact was really strange. You go back in time. The bus takes us to Aegiali running on kilometers of road to the sea: wonderful. We rented a car for the chance to visit the whole island: 50cc not satisfied because of the roads necessarily require a higher engine capacity. Do not miss the absolutely kalotaritissa bay, the beaches of Agia Anna and Muros and of course the Monastery of the Virgin. The evening dedicat discovering the small villages of the island: VERA GREECE. Intact. The whole life is concentrated in the taverns where many elderly and young people spend the evening together playing and singing local songs. A step back in time because the tourists were very few.
AMORGOS is impossible to forget the silence, interrupted only by the breath of the wind continued that there has never spring and the blue that is everything. It 'really the island of the "Great Blue".
SANTORINI
