Came to Athens by plane departing from Bologna and stop in Brindisi I stayed in a luxury hotel on the way to Piraeus. The trip lasted a week allowed me to discover the capital of Greece and beyond. In the City I saw the changing of the guard in Piazza Sindagma before Parliament, the stadium of the first modern Olympics, the National Archaeological Museum with finds from the famous Hellenistic, the Acropolis, the true navel of the Hellenistic culture which summarizes all the facets . How not to be enchanted in front of the Temple, in the loggia of the Caryatids, the Propylaia, the amphitheatres and the spectacular view that you enjoy. Also visited the area and that of modern markets. One afternoon I took a bus heading in the port city of Piraeus, Athens appendix of the sea. One day I took part in a trip organized that allowed me to visit the ancient Corinth with his excavations, Nauplia to lunch, go on to the ruins of Mycenae (door of the lions, cyclopean walls, etc.). And the great amphitheater of Epidaurus . Return to Athens through the bridge over the Corinth Canal. The return from Athens took place in air with a flight to Bologna. Do not miss:-Mycenae excavations; Athens-Sindagma Square with Parliament, the first stage of the modern Olympics, the National Archaeological Museum, Acropolis with the Temple of loggetta Caryatids, Propylaia and amphitheaters;-Epidaurus Amphitheater.
