These last two years I was on holiday in Greece, on a farm called Laka Zeza near Loutraki and Corinth, an hour and a half's drive from Athens and two from the port of Patras. This is a very special place, away from the noise but close to the tourist resorts of Greece's most popular classic that can easily visit with tours a day: in addition to Corinth are near Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplion, Athens, Tiryns and also .
Arriving from Malpensa with Easyjet to Athens airport we took the train to Corinth, where we arrived after about an hour and a quarter of a trip. Here at the station waiting for us to accompany the owner of the farm with his car to their destination, Laka Zeza. Leaving Corinth Loutraki we crossed, one of the largest spas in Greece there has appeared a lively and tourist area. We have left Loutraki Perahora reached, a small farming town very old, which unfortunately has been badly damaged by an earthquake in the last century.
The trip continued on a little-used road that runs alongside many olive groves and then for a few miles through thick pine woods, and after 10 km we arrived at the gate of Laka Zeza.
We were immediately struck by the peculiarity of the place, quiet and sunny, just as we had described the friends that we had reported: life takes place here in harmony with nature, in complete self-sufficiency in energy and with great attention to reducing minimizing environmental impact.
The houses, the owners and the one with the guest rooms are white and stand out on the red earth of the large clearing where they abode twenty multi beautiful olive trees and fruit trees.
After welcoming us, and given the room, simple but tasteful, the owners have shown us the path to go down to the sea, which was a wonderful surprise: a quiet and secluded bay, bordered by stone walls and surrounded by pine forest: the blue sea and green vegetation is an enchanting place!
We found a little 'this place by chance and found it ideal for a holiday "old" to get away from city stress, the days are punctuated by the rhythms of nature, we have discovered the pleasure of being with new friends, alternating to loneliness and silence, with the evenings lit by the stars or the moon and the singing of crickets in the silence of the night. ...
In the morning breakfast is offered part-time flexible, self-service: coffee, milk, tea, biscuits baked with cinnamon or sesame, fantastic home-made jams and yogurt often, the good, greek, sweetened with honey if desired , and sometimes a slice of cake. For lunch, everyone has their own basket with two sandwiches, tomato and fruit for dinner while you are all together at sunset around a large table under a centenary olive tree, eating really good food and a chance to chat quietly in a peaceful and family.
The bar is the meeting point for those who do not want to get down to the sea or in the evening want to chat: it is a very special bar, an area with tables and chairs, covered by a roof where there is a refrigerator and a stove on which independently prepare coffee, tea or herbal tea or a glass of ouzo: trust everyone marks their drinks on a notebook.

During the days we had available to the canoes to get around the bay to discover or to go around the coast, which is very rugged and rocky coves alternating with small bays with white sand, we did walk in the pine forest, such as walkways leading to the mountains or on the streets of resinai, we did great in a water bath stunning and the mask we saw many fish and the seabed. Finally we had the chance to raft trips with a group of marine biologists who are Laka Zeza basis for their fields of research on dolphins and I tried for the first time in my life the excitement of seeing and observing also some groups of dolphins swimming near the free and peaceful, undisturbed by man, which is not present in that area!
They told me that in some periods in this fantastic place of yoga workshops are held, of Biodanza, and weeks aimed at children and teenagers to lead to the discovery of nature and bring them closer to sailing and marine biologists led by sailing experts.
If you are interested you can find much information about this place so special on their website: www.lakazeza.com
