Greece, Bulgaria and former Yugoslavia... Balkanic trip

The initial program was to stay at sea in Greece and a visit to the region of Meteora, Thessaloniki and Mount Athos (Agio Oros). But once you are in this region, we decided not to return with the ship but to do it all in a car passing through Bulgaria, then visiting the city of Plovdiv with its Roman ruins and the capital Sofija. So from the beginning: starting from Brindisi with visit of the Trulli of Alberobello. The next morning we head there and Igoumenitsa to Parga to stay almost a week. The seventh day at Meteora stop for lunch at Ioanina. Then Thessaloniki for a night and here we decide to return from Bulgaria. One day in Plovdiv Sofija and then (but we decide that Bulgaria deserves a more thorough visit). In a ninth day pulled passing through (without stopping) from Belgrade and remaining two days on the island of Krk in Croatia. The last day on the tail junction of Mestre, tired and indivolati traffic, thinking to our mini-tour of the Balkans, however, were happy with the choice made.
