Staying in Bali, a small bay, 50 km from Heraklion.Una week stay and three days of car rental is little to be able to see the whole island which is very large. Still managed to visit the palace of Knossos (Click the many slides, but the film is jammed to the delight of my daughter would not come to visit "ruins"), we make several stops on the north coast, from Georgioupolis to Rethimnon and dine nearby to Vrises along a creek and under the plane trees. The water is not too hot, especially in the south, in the Libyan Sea. The landscape of the center of the island is amazing, lunar rocks and stretches of moorland. The beach of Elounda is pretty rocky, but sheltered by the peninsula of Spinalonga. Very beautiful beach of Malia, with enormous jars on the waterfront. You eat well everywhere, in small restaurants and taverns in features.
