Samos island: an uncommon journey to Greece

Summer 2005, Samos island destination where our dear friend greek Yannis (yanakis) was born and where he returns every summer from the capital Athens where he works and lives with his family.
We are guests of his parents in this wonderful artistic context, and perhaps is the holiday for so long wanted to do in Greece .... First of all, free from the usual itineraries, the casino and the beach is crowded .... We had a great desire for freedom and we in this island rediscovered.
The island is Ghent, the turns in 1 or 2 days and it goes from turquoise sea from the mountain about 1000 feet with waterfalls and caves .... On the island you find everything to make your vacation comfortable, we've got a quad and have shot far and wide, with our friends we went fishing and we ate fish with local salads ..... ....... delicious.
The island can be reached from Athens by boat or plane, in the first case are 14 hours in the second 40 minutes and we have chosen this second solution.
Samos and comes to Turkey, from here you can go to Ephesus, or prejudice ull'isola can see the remains of ancient cities and enjoy the story of the Aeneid whereas archaeological sites are present everywhere and in particular near the airport.
