A mysterious island that is one of the hundreds of islands in the Cyclades, but which has an incredible charm and unknown, they say that Santorini was the submerged Atlantis told by so many stories and legends, but this' hitting the island and 'definitely unsurpassed sunset that you can 'see the Caldera volcano now off.

 

The first days in Santorini

I arrived with 2 friends to IEI Santorini with an adventurous journey by ferry to the beauty that lasted 27 hours. Arrived very late in the afternoon of the day following our departure from Bari, I and my friends we went by taxi to Fira, the capital of the island of Santorini, where we had booked an apartment online from the photos that seemed quite nice. Got it right we were surprised by the beauty of the house for its wonderful location and view.
The city 'of Fira, the capital of the island of Santorini, you can admire a breathtaking landscape in fact that overlooks the sea where there is the old caldera that once was part of a former volcano quiescent hours.
We decide to go in the evening in a typical greek restaurant,
among the many restaurants in Santorini are the inns and taverns, which in Fira, ensure a quality 'of the food high, and allow you to dine at the sight of an unforgettable panorama. So we choose a restaurant overlooking the sea and just eat the delicious greek food and listen to traditional Greek music. We finish the evening going to drink beer in the pub most 'visited and frequented islands'.
Spend the evening calm and quiet and after about an hour or two we go home to rest after a long day of travel

The holidays go on..

The next day we decide to rent the mopeds that are the most 'useful to get around the island and consulted the map to reach the beach piu' note of the so-called "Red Beach". We head towards the beach and with some difficulty 'we come to the beach, the sea and the sun are fantastic so we remain a whole day basking in the sun and bathing in repeatedly.
In the evening we decide to make a fashionable night and go to discos in most of Santorini, the "Koo CLUB. Koo disco club 'certainly the most' exclusive of the island, I and my friend giorgio know two girls from Finland and spend all night in their company.
Happy to return home at dawn I decided to live yet another day unsurpassed.

Direction: Red Beach

One of the most popular of Santorini is the red beach, a place described as the planet Mars that can be visited on the ground. So we think to visit this beach elusive believe that the place worth the penalty. After about 30 minutes of travel by car is very difficult to find the beach, despite the geographical maps to our hands, after another 30 minutes we finally reach the beach red. Well, the view we have convinced a lot because it is a short tongue of sand mixed with orange sand normal that in my humble opinion is nothing so impressive as described by tourist guides.
The time needed to reach the beach red discouraged us to change seats so we were there. Despite the initial impact is not exciting then the rest of the day was pleasant because of the beautiful sea and the many hours of relaxation to bask in the sun.
The day ended with a grande bouffe of fish in a small restaurant near the airport between Kamari and the main road to Fira.

Oia

The fourth day was dedicated to visiting a village of Oia in the north of the island of Santorini which is half of the most visited by lovers of the beautiful sunset that you can see there. The way to achieve in Oia motorino is impervious, with many hairpin bends but the trip worth it for the beauty of the place.
A beautiful city from all points of view, breathtaking scenery, unforgettable landscapes at sunset, with many restaurants and traditional Greek tavernas that overlook the sea.
To visit ... 5 stars!

Relax on the beach and much sport

To date, we relaxed in the various bays on the island among the many sandy beaches and not Santorini, we ate in several restaurants that we were never disappointed, and in the evening we spent the nights between the premises of Fira and Kamari.
Kamari In particular there is a disco pub called the albatros outdoors where it is very easy knowledge of foreign girls but also many Italians.
