Arriving by ferry in the Peloponnese Patras-Brindisi, then to Olympia, the ancient city of the Games, to visit the archaeological remains show that the stadium, gym, study of the sculptor Phidias, temples and more. The evening at the port of Piraeus (I was already in a previous trip, see Athens AND SURROUNDING) where the car parked, as usual my Fiat Tipo, I embarked for Cyclades.

Here I was directed to the south, crossing the mountains near the ruins of Gortis be seen from the road, and reached Festos I have to visit the archaeological site. Then on the shores of the Mediterranean to Matala, where are shown if a beach, a mountain cliff with troglodyte houses and some restaurants offering excellent fish at good price. Return to the same road to Heraklion and departure by ferry to Rhodes. The crossing was long and boring and after stages at Fri (Kassos), Karpathos and Halki Rhodes came only in the evening the following day. A Rhodes visited the homonymous capital is rich in memories of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher, who resided here before being forced to move to Malta. The City is fully walled buildings are medieval Ottoman buildings, Christian churches, Turkish baths, buildings built during the fascist occupation and Italy, and entrance to the port, the place where according to tradition was the mythological Colossus. Rhodes returned to the capital and in the evening starting with the ship to the Piraeus.
Back on the mainland I have adopted the car parking at the port of Piraeus and Athens via I reached the Orthodox Monastery Ossios Loukas and Delphi, the ancient city with major dell'oracolo remains located on the slopes of Mount Parnassos. The next day around Kalambaka to see some of the most intreressanti Orthodox Monasteries of Meteora located on spurs of mountains once inaccessible. From here, crossing mountains and passes for Ioanina I reached the port of Igoumenitsa, from where I embarked for Brindisi.
