The town has accepted us as we were at home, starting from arrival at the airport where "er onion" we expect to accompany the apartment booked by internet with the "elusive" Dunaparts agency.
Small premise about the accommodation, the apartment we found on www.dunaparts.com from the photos was pretty nice, live was less, we paid 200 euros in four nights for 3 including the transfer from the airport only for 'arrival, but the location was good because we were very close to the pedestrian street "Vaci Utca" and the metro station "Ferenciek Tér. Er the onion is a little guy calabrese 'bizarre transplanted in Hungary for several years that we came to the airport on behalf of dunaparts and that after having shown the apartment and collected the money gave us his understanding and Availability 'to your mobile phone number ... ... .. from now on has dissipated, disappeared, evaporated. Logical advice: if you are around the internet and stumbled on their site Omit all smoke!

Well, after a while 'to spesetta for breakfast we can with the map in hand to immediately head to the pedestrian street that seems to be almost deserted whereas they were more or less 19.30, look a little' where you can taste a little ' Hungarian food, after a couple of "tanks" up and down to choose the restaurant where I do not remember the name, we accommodate and we do just a good dinner and plenty-based sausage and meat mixture to the plate accompanied by a sauce of mushrooms, rice and potatoes and beer. Less happy about the bill (25 euros per head) but satiated and satisfied we return to our apartment.

The morning of the second day we spent at the spa. But first we bought at the metro station "tourist ticket" that is not the "BUDAPEST Card", the tourist ticket can be valid or for 1 or 3 days, we have taken three days for what we paid in 2700 and that huf allows you to travel in any medium (metro, trolley, bus).

Elizabeth crossing the bridge we were able to appreciate the magnificent view over the Danube, did not imagine she was so big, the accomplice beautiful day of sunshine and cold temperatures at all (indeed!) The overall landscape of the city we felt truly extraordinary, elegant and fascinating!
The baths have chosen the famous Gellert thermal baths, after some difficulty in understanding how it worked the ticket we get we put the costume and let everything in the cabin that is locked by un'addetta.
Swimming in a place so elegant I have never seen the art nouveau architecture is beautiful, the large central pool which is what you see more in the tourist brochures is cold water, while behind us n 'is a little more hot water where you can sit quietly on a marble wall taking only the head outside and enjoy the relaxing hot vapor.
From the central swimming pool we went to the thermal baths only female from which you access the changing rooms, the mosaics are predominant in the decoration of the walls, even here there are swimming pools and hot and cold. We put a little 'anywhere in turkish bath in our flavored with chamomile, but we have survived for 1 second, almost 2 and we fled in order not to evaporate too. A young masseuse that saw us go from here and there (we were in search of our missing persons engaged for about two hours and a half) has directed us to the beautiful outdoor swimming pools, children who wonder, you'll be spoiled for choice, where we dive?
13.30 ce ne andiamo rilassatissimi (maybe the pressure has gone below zero!) Are returned to us at 600 guilders a head because we spent less than 3 hours in the spa.
At this point we go hungry and walk towards "Raday utca" returning back to pest and again crossing the Elizabeth bridge.
This is a pedestrian street with many restaurants that finds the square Kalvin Ter.
Afternoon dedicated to visit the "Fishermen's Bastion" in Buda, do not miss the view and the church of San Mattia revenue and enjoy the beauty of the decorations, the stained glass and frescoes, you will be ecstatic.
We wanted to see the market Fôvám tér but we arrived right at closing, only sin out there it seemed huge and full of interesting things! Know that the Sabbath is a day a little 'dead, the malls are closed in the afternoon, the market closes at 14, ditto the opera.
Do not miss a ride on the Metro 1 that goes to the Opera house, the trains are old but the stations are wonderful!
There are tours in this theater is a magnificent Renaissance building located on Andrassy ut, a beautiful boulevard type our Via Veneto in Rome.
Then there is the Gellert hill next to where there is a chapel dug into the rock and from there you can always take a walk to the citadel which is the most panoramic of the city where we know nothing since we arrived too tired!
.
Cross the Chain Bridge from Buda to Pest and take the funicular Budavári Siklo (un po 'cara 650 guilders and lasts very little) and you arrive at the royal palace which is one of the symbols of the country.
For the evening there are lots of pubs and some place where they dance the table.
Ah, do not forget to take tea with a beautiful piece of coffee cake Gerbeaud in an elegant and discreet.

Three days allow you to see the most important things in BUDAPEST without a tour de force, certainly with some more days you can devote to more in-depth visits to Parliament, the Basilica of St. Stephen, etc.. but enough to get into a city of the East which is stretched out to welcome tourists by offering a broad overview of cultural but also leisure.
The change of the euro can do in the various Money change located in the center, when we went we had to change 244/246 guilders for 1 euro, when you are in trouble as it happened to us that we did not have enough florins to pay for the dinner, know that also accept the Euro.
The "Queen of the Danube" is reached with low cost flights with Sky Europe Wizzair that, we flew to same with the return and the other with spending 100 euros a head. Wizzair of the van carrying at the airport and vice versa is reliable and accurate as the flight.
And finally we brought salami to all!
