(Distance from home 1227 km). Back in Budapest. The first time was for the school trip but we know that in those situations, the place where you count little. So we chose this city as a reward for the hard-won degree of my cool new doctor and was a completely different experience from that of 6 years before. Budapest is a fantastic city that remembers seeing the London Bridge and the Chain parliament, imperial Vienna to the avenues that crosses Paris for the beautiful buildings in every corner of the city and the port still affasciante melancholy patina typical of cities of the East European communist. The city was born from the union of three centers: Obuda the oldest part of which were found remains of the ancient Romans, but that actually looks like an area of buildings typical building communities with a pretty square with low houses on either side topped by these huge tower blocks that create an effective contrasting very strong, the Buda side where the citadel that is fantastic to walk through the lanes caratetristici the center (of UNESCO) and discover a glimpse of'altro and the Fishermen's Bastion, the marvelous St. Matthias Church and the castle; Pest the lower part of the city characterized by bellisimo Parliament, the largest synagogue in Europe, the colorful market and the beautiful bridges, the Heroes' Square, Castle Vajdahunyad and much more. A tip: according to many interior of the parliament have something fabulous book and if you want to visit first or go with a guide otherwise it is almost impossible to visit (we have not succeeded). The food is very special and spicy but the pastry is something fantastic stuff from dizziness. A curiosity: the church of St. Matthias was converted to a mosque and a Christian place of worship is the one where she married the famous Sissi which is dedicated to one of the seven points that consdentono the union of the two parts of the city in which half runs the vast Danube. Margaret Island is worth too delightful place to stroll among the greenery .... when the weather is nice because we were surprised by a perfect storm! Other monuments are the castle Vajdahunyad behind Heroes' Square, the Basilica of St. Stephen, the monument for the liberation from Nazism on Mount Gellert, the market is full of colors and smells so unusual for us, the bastion of the fishermen with the lights of the evening is something very suggestive and not miss a walk through the narrow streets around the synagogue. The biggest regret was not being able vistitare famous thermal baths for which Budapest is famous. Surely the city will change over time given the numerous construction sites around town, so the next time Budapest is sure to be even better than yesterday.Trip of an Hungarian master!!
