ICELAND - NATURE "WITHOUT FILTER"

This summer (finally) we managed to realize a dream: to visit Iceland!
The first project provided for a vacation fly & drive "but then carefully examining the problems of traveling alone (for reasons of" economic "and to date we have not found companions adventure) we have decided to join an organized group where (between ' more) we were very well both for participants and (more often) for the guide / escort really smart!
The island, however, is really beautiful: nature is really the master even in summer when the influences of climate are not as "heavy" as I believe they are in the middle of winter!
Among the other being on the edge of the Arctic Circle, the light is always present in summer (just a little dark 'between one and three of the night) while it is virtually always in the dark in winter.
Things that strike in that land are numerous: from the land which in most of the island is kind of lava and then turned on with much color and contrast "to the water very colorful (in both the sea and rivers are often perceive contrasts between waters of different temperatures that give rise to precisely very contrasting colors .... BEAUTIFUL!). And then the glaciers that cover much of the area, some covering partially active volcanoes, and sometimes go directly to the sea (like the Vatnajokull, the glacier as large as the Umbria largest in Europe) creating beautiful lagoons for games currents that go back thousands of creating iceberg!
The population is then (with the exception of the Reykjavik) scattered on the surface of the territory so as to truly live in contact with the nature of the failures of civilization!
Then a stage stop is the "Blue Lagoon" is located a few kilometers from the airport of Keflavik, and was carried out with the waste waters of the nearby geothermal power plant resulting in two "products" (energy and bathrooms) with a good primary infinity in the land: water! Swimming in the naturally hot water is very relaxing and very enjoyable!
