DUBLIN IN A DAY AND A HALF

Generally. If we want to visit a city, the capital even as in this case, from top to bottom, with "Baedecker" in hand, step by step, monument to monument, museum after museum ... be 'then forget these four lines written by me and see things more important and challenging of this very beautiful site! If, however, there are enough of these synthetic fragments of 36 hours in DUBLIN, then continued.
Flight AerLingus excellent airline and good prices too low fare (round 78 euros, 15 euros return), DUBLIN Airport well connected to the city center by bus and Aircoach Airlink (5 or 7 euro ticket). Formalities fast landing. Accommodation at the hotel (Fitzsimon's Hotel) in the center for Temple Bar in the heart of the city, is to visit the main monuments (not many) and shopping in Grafton Street is to drink Guinness, Kilkenny and Harp. Less for peace: into the night - you know - friends brothers Irish drink much and consequently casino a go-go, songs and dances, and jokes Frizzi, drunk beer (with the usual consequences of the case) in place ongi .
For a blitz of 36 hours does not miss (and can be done because DUBLIN is not big, you can turn the institutional - touristic comfortably walk) however:
- Christchurch and St'Patrick's close
- Grafton Street, the street of shops
- Merrion Square, Georgian district and the statue of Oscar Wilde in the garden on the corner (and on the home front, even if it is not worthwhile, in my opinion)
- Of course the famous DUBLIN University, Trinity College and especially the Book of Kells (an ancient manuscript of the Gospel), in the Great Library, Long Room and out in front, College Green in the Palace of the Bank of Ireland
- At least a central park as St.Stephen 's Green and then if there is advancing time (I doubt) and you want to take a bus and then walk to the Phoenix Park, the largest city park in Europe
- O'Connell Street Lw Up and that there on foot if you get off the bus No. Airlink 747 or 748 to stop the same name
- Factory of Guinness beer in St.James' s Gate, properly "Guinness Storehouse" here and climbs on top of the tower of the panoramic bar, Skybar, where we also offer a pint of the legendary drink from brown foam besgiolina, which have paid by buying the entrance ticket for the tour of the factory (which is a more static simulation that dynamic, especially with multimedia)
- Temple Bar, famous for pubs, nightlife, arts and entertainment, the rectangle between the River Liffey and Dame Street.Pittoresca zone, perhaps a little 'less at a certain hour of the w / end for the presence of the output (for use a euphemism) of the hangover, for some part of the show (sic!).
Other I did not tell you, unless:
will always and all over the internet, flight and hotel or hostel, possibly linked by the link to the website of AerLingus save a lot! The hotel I paid 66euro the room with breakfast, instead of 100 or more.
Greetings and the next.
fabrizio, Milan
