after the trip last year in Austria, this time you chose to go to Ireland to visit the Connemara. this year 's adventurers besides me are two. In fact my father is over there with us my uncle Robert, who has trained for the occasion hard in the face of continuing King of the Mountains in Ireland. after months and months of waiting finally part. Dublin welcomes us immediately fine, the day is beautiful, sunshine and temperatures around 20 degrees. conzioni amazed at the wonderful weather we head by bus to Galway starting point of our tour we will know this beautiful country. after 4 hours of coaches arrive at their destination, so we take the bike rental (very comfortable) and we are moving towards our b & b. shower and immediately around the streets of Galway walking course it's almost 21:00 and hunger is so. . . Indeed it immediately with your feet under the table to eat the fantastic trio of Connemara fish. . . (3 tiny pieces of fish). Sunday morning begins our tour, every day we traveled about 60/70 miles with beautiful landscapes, to remember is definitely the country of Clifden (3rd leg) where the Sky Road, we were able to take photos more 'beautiful, hence the landscape is spectacular, coastal cliffs of the ocean. Remarkable is also the castle at the very beginning of the sky, great! ! ! I struggle to remember all the places seen, in particular I want to say a few lines above the town of Leenaun, which is the setting for the film "The Field", truly a place to film. Here we stayed at B & B The Convent. . . is an old convent, complete with views of the fjord, very special. We also visited the nearby waterfalls aasleagh, very nice. near this village, after climbing one of the most challenging climbs on top of the hill, we took some beautiful pictures, where a cross placed at the highest point (in memory of a tourist in South Africa) dominated the landscape below, this was a of the most fascinating ever (see photo). other beautiful places we visited as letterflack, Westport, Cong, all unforgettable, as you'll never forget the boat ride from Congo to outherard, stopping first on an island rich in archaeological remains dating back to Christianity, all in the company of a nice Irish schoolchildren (see photo). the weather this week has been fantastic, only the last day we took the water, but by calculating that Ireland is also famous for its rain, we say that it went really well. Friday, June 5th handed over the bikes we rented the car and we headed in the Burren to see the Cliff of Moher. . . amazing, too bad the photos do not make the beauty of the place. the next day still with the car then we headed to Dublin to catch the plane to Italy, but since we arrived well in advance, we also visited the Irish capital, full of beautiful places full of people of all breeds a multiethnic city to which we were not used because we had lived for a week calmly with few noises in the ears and a few people who stood in back. Ireland is so beautiful, I advise everyone to go and visit her bike if you are trained, we already miss it. Greetings from Claudio, Luciano and Roberto, the heroes of this tour. Ireland (31 May to 6 June 2008)
