AerLingus flight from Dublin to Bologna where we arrive late in the evening with a rainy climate and fresh ... except in the cab where the driver took a tropical climate ... and hot!

18:08 Dublin
Full day excursion to Dublin, from St. Stephen's Garden in Grafton Street from Trinity College in Long Liffey from Temple Bar to the castle and cathedral, Catholic and Protestant. Evening in a pub-restaurant in Temple Bar. Dublin is a city full of life at all hours of day and night.

19:08 Boyne Valley and Belfast
Withdraw our rented car and we head north towards Belfast, during the journey we visit the Hill of Slane with its monastery ruins, the prehistoric site of Newgrange and Monasterboice where are some of the Celtic crosses the largest and best preserved. Once in Belfast before dinner we decide to make a turn for the center, which is strange, especially since Saturday, there is no one around us and even stops the wheel of a police telling them to be careful to keep too much in view cameras. We also find problems to find a restaurant open.

20:08 County Antrim
We leave Belfast without too many regrets, and we head towards the Antrim Coast, began the first true landscape of Ireland, thanks to the beautiful day. After the stop at the bridge of Carrick a Rede reach the Giant's Causeway. The site and its structures created by a multitude of columnar basalt is really interesting even if a little 'too crowded.

Londonderry cross from the entire county of Donegal, a place outside the real world, think that still is not reached by train, where for miles there are no human settlements. We visit the Glenveagh NP and the west coast.

22:08 Slieve League Cliffs
Although it is almost autumn day, it rains and gets cold, we go to visit the highest cliffs in Europe who are in a splendid landscape and the ocean to the peak marked by green fields full of heather and sheep fuchsia teeming ... a show even if the low clouds covering the top portion of the cliffs. In the afternoon, rainy reach Galway, to which we devote the evening and where we drink our first real Irish coffee.

Connemara 23:08
In the morning we leave for tour of Connemara, but the weather is gray, until noon the sky becomes clear and free from the clouds and start a shining sun that makes the colors of an impressive live ... we can really account for what Heaven is the Irish with his sudden change. 24.08 Cliffs of Moher and Burren
From Galway we move south and reach the Cliffs of Moher, really impressive to lean from the ocean cliffs, although some items were protected by the parapet and when we visited there was an open site for the construction of new visitor center. Later we visit the limestone of the Burren region and reach Kilkee for the night.

25.08 Dingle Peninsula
Day devoted to visit the Dingle Peninsula and in particular the Slea Head Drive, where beautiful landscapes are opening up the ocean and it is possible to visit prehistoric sites including Gallarus Oratory.

26.08 Ring of Kerry
Walk from Killarney entire Ring of Kerry, even here there are beautiful places and evocative glimpses of landscape. We take some time to relax lying on a lawn in Valencia Island with a breathtaking view of the Skellig Islands.

27.08 Blarney Castle and Cashel
From Killarney we move again towards the south and visit Blarney Castle where in the castle surrounded by a beautiful garden there is the stone that the tradition has it that giving, kissing her, the gift dell'eloquenza, from there we move to the town of Cobh colored sea and then go back north, and after a brief stop at Cahir Cashel reach where we visit the fortress of St. Patrick.

Adare 28.08 and return to Dublin
Last day of Ireland, the return journey to Dublin digress for a visit to Adare, a village in medieval style with some featuring homes from the roofs, and Limerick, a town with nothing special except the castle. We spend the last half a day in Dublin walker through the center.
