After about 10-15 days before our departure that landed here with the first light of a cool morning in Dublin! Finally we arrived in Ireland long desired!
We found accommodation in a hostel in the city where the contrary, that in France there is the division between men and women and there are mixed dormitories where people from all over the world!
After spending 3 days in the capital we headed to the north of the island.
Following a suggestion of some ostellanti we stopped for 2 nights lodging in Drogeda in the strange but very cozy Orley House. Here we are practically able to understand who was the manager that at the time to say goodbye Even if we failed to pay ...
From Drogeda we made some excursions using the cheapest way that we had available: the hitch!
Alert you to the Bru na Boinne (the valley of the Boyne) and its archaeological site of Newgrange. Area rich in history and home to numerous archaeological finds of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Greeted Drogeda we headed to Northern Ireland and after a brief stop we arrived in Belfast to Portrush where we stopped for 3 days in a hostel where we were the only guests. From this small town ever hitchhike we reached the beautiful sites including the beautiful Giant's Causeway (the columns of the Giants) are a series of columns of basalt in the sea.
After leaving the Northern Ireland because there were no direct trains to the west and just had no intention of paying the bus, we opted to hitchhike cheaply and we came from Londonderry to Donegal City the main city of the homonymous county.
We stayed in 'extremely economical Ball Hill Youth Hostel. Here is the ostellante guests who were all crazy ... maybe we were too us .... We were wonderfully ....
An amiable pair of New Zealanders kindly offered us a ride to the foot of the Slieve League cliffs .. the highest in Europe. We improvised climbers but it was worth it! A wonder of nature!
Always hitchhiking from County Donegal have come to Galway from where it was convenient to reach the tourist Cliffs of Moher (spectacular cliffs overlooking the ocean for over 200 meters).
After 3 days we have changed again coming to Kilrush County where he was to begin "Mrs. Crotty Festival" ...
