A brief tour of Vernazza. Liguria, Italy
A pearl of a shot gun (traffic permitting). Magnificent village of the five lands that castling is a semicircle around the harbor. Worth visiting the church of S. Margaret of Antioch, overlooking the harbor, and Belforte castle that overlooks the rocky promontory, with its characteristic cylindrical tower. For the rest it also demonstrates an interesting stage with enogastronomic scenic outdoor restaurants (in Gianni Franzi is a square), and many wine shops serving glasses (or bottles, depending on your thirst) of the famous sciachetrĂ and other fine wines ligurian. Dinner without infamy and without praise to the restaurant Piva (attention: the kitchen, to the dismay of many tourists discomfort, closed at 21.10) TIPS: 1. To get to Vernazza comodissimo I found the train passing the station of Levanto and arriving 10 minutes to Vernazza (1.10 Euro + 6 Euro parking 24 hours).
