to reach the mythical castle object of study for centuries and disquisition take the former SS98 hours a degraded road to the size not achieved according to the parameters of Europe then we must take the bus made available, and then climb along the narrow path and UNPO ' in the wild that leads to the castle. Beautiful castle but little comfort for those suffering from vertigo due to the narrow stairs and no railing but definitely interesting. Then we went to an exhibition on Federico II and then we were just in the right atmosphere ..... closer to the site, shows the castle in a spectacular solitude overlooking, from its 540 meters above sea level, a wide area of Puglia and of the Monte Basilicata.Castel also non-functional: there are no kitchens, or basements or underground. There are only five small fireplaces for the 16 rooms that make up the castle .... one thing but in reality there are no toilets, situated in the towers and constructed almost like those of today. Surely after that in 1860 the Duke of Andria, who was the owner of the castle, has been sold to Italian for this £ 25,000 has remained so for so long abandoned, which was to shelter the shepherds who put the animals in large courtyard and the goats and sheep on the first floor, and then there was a time when refugees were also robbers.
