Stay of a day in Siena.
Staying at "Montaperti" 6 km from Siena, Casetta location, modern hotel, the price about € 90 (for us the night free, we used a package of Boscolo received with the collection points in supermarkets Ali), excellent breakfast.
Siena is crowded, although it is Monday, Piazza del Campo a pit, as the narrow surrounding streets, festooned with flags of the districts. Certainly to be admired in the Cathedral in particular the marble floors and columns supported by lions.
Sample finocchiona typical salami of the area and in the evening ribollita famous vegetable soup with beans and bread bruschetta.
Beautiful even the road that took us from Florence to Siena, preferring to avoid the highway and the hills.
