A day in the famous city of Pisa with a visit to its magnificent Piazza dei Miracoli. Trip to Italy

The last leg of our trip to Tuscany is Pisa, where we stopped for maybe an hour in 1990, passing to go to Piombino to catch the ferry to the island of Elba, long ago, another life !
We park in a fairly convenient to downtown, close dell'ospedalei. Piazza dei Miracoli welcomed us to his glory, climb the Leaning Tower is actually too expensive, so we opt for the Duomo and the Baptistery of San Giovanni, and we enjoy them in their beauty, shooting a multitude of photos here. Then we move away from Piazza dei Miracoli, we see the building where the headquarters of the Normal School, and we reach the Arno. Nearby, in a narrow alley, we find a typical restaurant, with tables well in the courtyard, where I eat a typical pasta with pesto, testaroli (perhaps because it is a typical dish is the Osteria del Livorno ...): Culegna honestly be recommended.
Returning to Piazza dei Miracoli for another last look at the Tower and unfortunately we take the car to return home.
