Stop in Volterra, a city of ancient Etruscan origin, which preserves two magnificent gates, where we can see the Roman ruins and medieval buildings like the Palazzo dei Priori and the Cathedral. The area is famous for mining and alabaster. Walking along the downtown streets are countless shops of ceramics, in variety of beautiful colors ...... Only the prices are a bit too high!
