A romantic weekend on the shores of Lake Garda, in the city of Sirmione.

It had been so long since planned a romantic getaway with my love and here is the opportunity finally arrived, a weekend to ourselves to Sirmione. We had booked a room at Villa Rosa http://www.hotel-villarosa.com/, not far from the historic center. Arrive in the morning around 9 o'clock, we leave the car in the parking of the hotel and we walk to visit the town.
The impact with Sirmione is very favorable, there are many tourists and things to see, http://www.Sirmione.com/, we dive straight into visiting the old town. Sirmione is a town built on the tip of a narrow peninsula that extends toward the center of Lake Garda and almost everywhere open, sometimes suddenly, splendid views of the lake, also we were also blessed with a wonderful time. Take the train that will take us to the Grotte di Catullo, ruins of an ancient Roman villa on the extreme promontory, it is very nice to walk into this place, the view is spectacular and shoot lots of photos, it's time we go out for lunch and pending the arrival of the train that will take us back downtown, eat a cold dish in a bar nearby. Complete the visit with a jump of Sirmione Scaliger Castle and an excellent salad purchased at a kiosk near the gates of the old town. We spend our day almost always immersed in these lakes where water is constantly at 37 degrees, between small waterfalls and whirlpools scattered everywhere, eating a sandwich in a hurry at the bar of the Park to enjoy as much as possible of these delights. In the evening, after having to postpone his departure as possible, we climb into the car and, satisfied, we return to Genoa
