Classical trip with his family to a Sunday in late summer. Strong wind in Puglia, concern about the vessel, whereas this is the first time!
Starting at dawn when it is still dark to Sorrento to which we are not destined to see much apart from the harbor and around a bar where you can do a quick breakfast of croissant and cappuccino. Good morning just when the sun rose we take the ferry to Capri. The sea is rough and somewhat ballonzola 'because the boat is small dimensioni.A board American know a girl who comes to Kim Capri for a stage of painting. Landed at the port we are approaching the funicular and Kim meet again, the encounter is repeated again on a bus. At the Capri climate is wonderful, there is the sun and many British and American tourists. A look at the shops full of trinkets, T-shirts and lemon trees, the beautiful Villa San Michele of Axel Munthe, l 'hotel Quisisana. Near the square where we sit to take the ice cream some British tourists ask me directions to the beach and I (then still studying) do not miss the chance to flaunt my knowledge. Unfortunate that the stay was a few hours! In the late afternoon touches a return ferry back to Sorrento. Walk down a stretch of coast before you enter sull'A16. The minute holiday and who comes from out of town during a trip all the wards. We return to town with some delay compared with the roadmap provided but with the magic of Capri still present (even if many years have passed!)
