A trip with my friends to Abano Terme spa.. How to increase beauty and have fun in the same time!
We left Rome on November 19 by car to get a few hours in Abano Terme. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria Abano Terme GB Hotels Group. We booked everything on the Internet through their reservation service and we called for more information about their health treatments. Our match funding was around 800 euros per person and we spent almost all of travel, accommodation and spa treatments. We are well and above all we Smashing!

It was a Monday evening as we come up with this idea. I, Francesca and Mara had a great desire to relax that so we said, 'Why not? Why not choose to spend a short vacation in a place where everything is surrounded by peace and prosperity? "We want to unplug from the stress of work and the usual routine!
And then Mara has laid great stress on those his back problems and had learned that the spa could be a cure for his malaise.
And! And the baths are good ... not just physical but also the mind. The next day we were informed, we did some research and immediately we realized that Abano Terme would satisfy our desires, so we booked the Hotel Metropole, Abano Terme for a stay of 5 days.
Barely a week after we left Rome by car. We left Friday morning and with a few hours we arrived there, in a small town in the Veneto that we never imagined that she was so beautiful and interesting.
Just after Abano Terme exit the motorway was opened in front of us surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Colli Eugenei, from the sumptuous Venetian villas, abbeys, castles ... and also our Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria seems like a casket, the kind that enclose in a great treasure. And its modern treasure is thermal water, a treasure that during our stay there very much delighted!
We began our vacation with the desire to discover and all the time we made pampered sulphurous water. Did not want to ever leave the hot thermal pools!

The first two days passed quickly and we have dedicated to our treatment Mud & Shape which is customized to the doctor who visited us and followed throughout their stay. We spent the time between sludge and aerobic exercises slimming, gossiping a little 'free. It was a long time that I enjoyed so with my friends. Our goal was to clean up a bit 'and delete the debauchery of the period of Christmas. But ultimately we wanted to spend some 'time together and were years that I so enjoy and relax with my friends.
The effects of the treatments we have seen and felt immediately. After each treatment, each of us feeling well and saw more beautiful ... it seems that the hands of our therapists were magical! Lunch and dinner we had a menu of our own. For our small group and all the people who follow the mud & Form, daily chefs have studied and prepared the most delicious diet menu and good that I ate. I have absolutely envy of the other dishes ... and I must admit, some sweet we tasted. Gluttony were absolutely divine! After spending two days in complete relaxation, we decided to organize differently the day and know the territory. In fact, we planned the treatments in the morning and we kept the afternoon free. The Hotel staff was very kind to organize excursions, while the staff of the spa has helped us to plan and group treatments in the morning.
All our desires come to life and was heard with the warmth and professionalism. Rare gift for a hotel of this size and with this great staff. The third day we went out for a walk in the town of Abano Terme. Among a drink in the local council and a bit 'of shopping, we walked the Via delle Terme, we visited the Piazza del Sole e della Pace and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the largest religious building in the city center. The town of Abano Terme is a town far from "dead". The bars and clubs were full of people and we also met a group of French girls staying in our same hotel. In a little 'of French mixed with a few words of Italian we became friends and together we continued to walk around the city.
Together we went to Sacred Heart Church and the Urban Thermal Park, the jewel of contemporary architecture, which is designed as one big continuous meadow, crossed by paved paths and planted with trees and plants.
The next day, after the mud, we visited the Villa Ravioli. Then we return to the hotel and we made yet another thermal bath and we tried the cave. That we were very impressed because it is similar to a sauna but the inside looks like a real cave. After dinner we were with the new French friends at the bar and then we went out.
The last day we took advantage of the proximity of Abano Terme with the city of Padua to visit and make a final walk. In Padua, we visited the center of Padua, the Diocesan Museum and the Baptistery. We also visited the Basilica of St. Anthony which holds the tomb of St. Anthony of Padua. We Pedrocchi relaxing in the Cafe, a coffee historic city that was called the "coffee without doors" because the beginning and for a long time it was open both day and night. We had the waiter to explain the story and impressed us the number of artists who have attended, as Stendhal, Fusina, D'Annunzio, the Futurist Marinetti and Eleonora Duse.
From this experience I realized that people in Abano Terme is fun, enjoyable and pleasant. The friendliness is combined with the tranquility and the care that these scenarios emanate. But Abano Terme is not boring as many believe. We have fun, we met new people, we had been celebrating the premises late ... we did not just massages and baths. So I can say that Abano Terme is a perfect place for any type of vacation, even for young girls like us who want to be together, have fun taking care of themselves. We also become more beautiful ... Just try it!

We arrived around 11 o'clock because we left Rome early. Just in time ... for lunch and we did the medical spa treatments and organized throughout your stay.
