A visit to the Hanbury Botanic Gardens in Ventimiglia. Coast of Liguria, Italy
We left for a day originally designed for relaxation and sea ..... in Diano Marina, the sun was pale and thick clouds ...... Then we head towards Ventimiglia where we are in for a visit to the botanical gardens.
7 euro per head and a beautiful view from the outside, we are high on the sea to the limit with the French Riviera, a short distance from us. The gardens are state and place of study at the University of Genoa, huge and beautiful, let's go and get a brochure where in addition to explanations of why many of the place, of how and when .... is a map with the location of the whole park and two tips for your best paths to follow.
Trail leg up off the bar red and blue cliff path for the return. And those have followed though with little "off piste" dictated by my female curiosity!

Parking is a sore point of the place, they 'have such a shortage of living space that you have to park engineer, go, come, come up with ...... in the end you will succeed!

just ahead of the garden there is a hotel under renovation for 4 cars on the road is the hotel car park but not used by anyone and there are no restrictions or closures, there is a shed on pink / orange all over alone ..... Then follow the path passes between the stone staircases, handrails and antique relief, fountains, grottoes, rocks, plants of every type and genre, all with a label that indicates its origin and name.
Through some galleries of climbing plants in the shade of palm trees we stop for photos ....... Beautiful plants, plants curious.
There is an old fountain that now houses a pond with leaves, flowers, fish and turtles, beautiful and regal, almost magical.
The optimal locations and ideal subjects for photographs no longer count ........ is all heavenly.

First, one arrives at a sumptuous and super luxury villa ancient and well preserved and restored on pink, huge with endless rooms, balconies, large terrace, decorations endless pool with terrace and a high ceiling decor, and juices., Courtyard with fountain and in front numerous other decorations, regal entrance with stone lions and a mosaic ceiling. Back garden and that garden!
Broad, green with tons of trees and benches, a small hedge maze, a fountain and a staircase that descends to the lower floors to connect the garden to an exciting and magnificent Moorish structure. The garden of the villa is something spectacular. and among gravel paths and spectacular views you imagine how anything could be the end of '1800 when they' was inhabited by the Hanbury family of all pomp!
The villa can be seen from the sea and who knows what a view ...... and from the villa you can see much of the coast. is a wonderful combination, garden and sea ....... in the garden of the villa would be an hour to turn, take pictures, admire ... read. Pleased with the arrival of the entrance and exit of the same place we greet this beautiful park nestled in the scrub and the green Liguria, rich and luxurious, decorative and decorated, which once was the residence of someone who was the true owner ... really! !
What do we do now? Sea unthinkable since the weather is not sunny. Well as we head into the interior of Liguria on the streets of the oil ......
