A weekend in Turin, the chief town of Piedmont region of Italy
First step stone, from where it leaves the funicular to the Basilica di Superga. A short trip of 20 minutes and going up can enjoy an excellent view. The Basilica is impressive, we visit the tombs of Savoy and we go to see the plaque on the hill in honor of the Grande Torino. At the bar next to the Basilica's specialty is the "hill", a mixture of chocolate, cappuccino, milk and cocoa with a little 'cream, fabulous. Leaving the Parco del Valentino Superga walk along the Po, where there is a faithful reconstruction of a medieval village of '500. In the center of Turin is very difficult to photograph the Mole Antonelliana, so wedged between the houses. The next morning parked in Piazza Vittorio Veneto (Vittorio square as they call the people of Turin) and continuing under the arcades, we arrive in Piazza Castello, given the Royal Palace and I realize that the Savoy had their pomp. Very beautiful the gardens, even if not exactly manicured. In Piazza San Carlo is a hangout "grenade" and there I realize I wear a striped jersey eagle, making the case that morning, but that stance, however, my faith in full football.
