An afternoon in Orvieto

Before coming to Siena to exit to Orte decide to go to Orvieto Umbrian town famous for its magnificent cathedral masterpiece of Romanesque-Gothic beautiful both externally and internally due to the works of outstanding artists who adorn. But Orvieto, a city perched on a tuffaceous rock, is not only famous for that. The building of the town hall of the Middle Ages, the charming old town, churches children (we have visited the church of St. Francis guardians entrusted to volunteers who are working to make a guide for tourists) and the well of St. Patrick. Unfortunately, the short stay (about two hours between 17 and 19) was not sufficient to see everything, but certainly we intend to return because it is worth, including for those who are accustomed to the plains as we, the Orvieto are traipsing down mooolto healthy :-)))
