COPPEDE' quarter in Rome. Lazio, Italy

A tip for those who have a little extra time to visit ROME: in the PARIOLI, only minutes away from Via Veneto and Villa Borghese, a district created around 20 years, designed and built by architect Gino Coppedè of Florence.
Villini surrounded by a discrete vegetation, buildings in which the ancient Greek, with its mythological reasons, will join the Middle Ages, a medieval one imagines that fairytale, with fairies and knights armor. In other buildings there is a dominance of the contemporary Art Nouveau, founded on the stylization of certain elements of nature, such as lilies, roses, bells, branches that intersect, one way to ROME rather unusual, as it is surmounted by the so-called "Umbertine Neo-Renaissance style. But that's not all: the building of the Spider, for example, with its arches arranged asymmetrically and sculpted face, wants to repeat the Babylonian-Assyrian statuary (to which the rest occhieggiava the Baroque art).
Worth a visit.
