Clearly I have not done a long eight years!
I found myself in two countries by similar names in two different dates! Montecatini Terme is not a place to be as old as some "malpensante" might be led to believe. The population is not young (I speak of the population of tourists) but the fun for everyone not really missing! There is a marketplace of Articles outfit near the Baths for romantic traditionalists, many shops, art nouveau villas and luxury hotels for the most demanding and evening concerts by the piano bar in the square. Prices a little 'loved ones, including the entrance to the spa.
Another story the other hand, one in Montecatini Val di Cecina "encountered" by going to sea to Bibbona from Siena.
First step to Volterra, a town of Etruscan origin, then stop at the Old River bar in Montecatini Val di Cecina where to eat good chocolate cake and make a hearty breakfast for EUR 9.08, finally, after passing this town unknown to me until that Sunday we continue ... to other adventures.
