Molfetta is a municipality in the province of Bari, a coastal town about 25 km from the capital. Said the old Island of St. Andrew formed the first urban core around the third century. and is characterized by a unique plant herringbone: here lies the Duomo, the largest church in the axis of cupolas Apulian Romanesque crowned by two bell towers, built between XI and XII century. Also in the historical center is the baroque church of St. Peter's built on an earlier Romanesque church. Note the walls to the ground remained in their path.
