Feast of the assumption on ice
Three days and two nights in the mountains between hiking and climbing glaciers in the middle of August for a different than usual.
Day 1 Friday 13 August 2004
leave the car at Chiareggio. We load the backpacks on their shoulders and, through the path, we arrive at the refuge Longoni - mt. 2450, Sassa of Entova, Phone 0342/45.11.20
Day 2 Saturday 14 August 2004
we leave at dawn for the rise of the ghiacchiaio Lower Scerscen: Tremoggia goal. But the time is bad and we must reverse the rise: the rise and then fall Scerscen Tremoggia on the advice from the mountain guide and manager of the Refuge. The wind is cold and her face is hit by snow moved by the peaks. Patiamo quite cold, and arrived on the glacier we have always come from Scerscen because Tremoggia arriving at the clouds and visibility would be zero. The mountain calls compared and, in return gives us stunning scenery and a really beautiful nature. MERITA!

day dedicated to climbing in a hut near the Longoni with a couple of friends who has joined us for the occasion. While I am at a basic level the others are very good and I follow with patience.
